Weekly Loss Control Report

Remember the 4-to-1 rule.

1 - For each four feet of height, set the base of the ladder out one foot.

2 - Use your ladder ONLY if it is in good condition.

3 - It must have safety feet.

4 - When climbing, face it.

5 - Stepping
on and off an upper surface is a very big deal.

6 - Your ladder must be long enough to be at least three feet above the surface.

7 - AND do not carry anything in your hands while climbing.

8 - Leave that job to your tool belt.

9 - MOVE your ladder if an item is out of reach.

10 - STAY CENTERED - Your belt buckle must be between the side rails.

11 - Wear non slip shoes.

12 - Ladders - or the people who use them - send 19,000 people to emergency rooms each year.

13 - You need to be careful.

So you and your family can give Thanksgiving.
